Lessons I Learned After It Was Too Late

Don’t Touch A Hot Stove.

Don’t touch fire, on a hot stove.

Don’t talk back.

Don’t talk during class.

Don’t talk during church.

Don’t talk at bedtime.

Don’t talk during a test.

Don’t talk!

School is important.

Friends aren’t always forever.

People aren’t always who they say they are.

Life isn’t easy.

Tests are hard.

I’m not good at math.

Homework is supposed to be done at home.

Google doesn’t have all the answers.

Life isn’t a one way street.

Love comes in different forms.

Trust is earned, not given.

If you don’t respect others, they won’t respect you.

Breakfast is important.

Lunch is important.

Dinner is important.

Snack isn’t important, but we still eat it anyway.

Fast food isn’t always fast.

There is no place like home.

Jae Lei Nyght is an up and coming science fiction writer, video editing mogul, amateur graphic design artist, and full-time college student. She plans to publish her first novel in the year 2017. Until then, she fills her days writing papers and analyzing documents, counting down the days until her graduation in May of 2016. She is addicted to chocolate, enjoys the freeing feel of wind in her hair, and is trying to eat more vegetables. She loves writing, and if she can ever stop editing, she will love publishing her first novel even more. Please, take a look around. I promise, one minute will turn into a life time.

  1. There IS no place like home, if that is where your heart is.
And I agree, snacks are important, especially if one is a “grazer” like me. 🙂

What do you think ? Let me know.
